Rockstar in Atlanta is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the design, prototyping, and manufacturing handoff for drone and control-system components. You’ll work hands‑on across CAD, 3D‑printed prototyping, and production processes, building manufacturing‑ready drawings and BOMs.
You’ll collaborate with EE and systems engineers, translate ideas into physical prototypes, and ensure designs meet manufacturability and integration requirements across volumes. Travel 5–10%.
Rockstar is recruiting for a venture-backed Warfighter technology company that was forged from battlefield frustration. They build systems to give U.S. and allied Warfighters an unfair & decisive edge. Their flagship product, LADRS (Laser Aiming & Drone Remote System), addresses one of the most dangerous problems on the modern battlefield: cognitive overload. This is a ground-floor role for someone ready to grow with the company.
The client is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to own the design, prototyping, and manufacturing handoff of mechanical components and assemblies for its drone and control systems, working hands‑on across CAD, 3D‑printed prototyping, and other production processes for large volumes. The role sits at the intersection of design and fabrication — this is not a pure‑CAD position — requiring the engineer to build and iterate on physical prototypes in‑house, generate manufacturing‑ready drawings and BOMs, identify and manage vendors, and work closely with EE team members, technicians, and systems engineers to integrate mechanical designs into larger products.
