  • Perform structural analysis, simulation, and testing to validate designs and ensure they meet safety, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with electrical, software, and systems engineers to integrate mechanical components into multidisciplinary systems and products.
  • Generate detailed engineering drawings, bill of materials (BOM), and specifications for prototype and production manufacturing.
  • Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to source components, select materials, and ensure manufacturability and quality of mechanical parts.
  • Participate in design reviews, brainstorming sessions, and cross‑functional meetings to provide technical input and feedback on design concepts and project progress.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to resolve problems and improve product performance.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in mechanical engineering to drive innovation and maintain competitive advantage.
  • Communicate project status, technical updates, and recommendations to stakeholders, management, and team members in a clear and concise manner.
