Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled and working toward completion of Bachelor or Graduate degree from an accredited university or college with Mechanical Engineering majors preferred.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Good interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across multiple functions to achieve desired results.
  • Ability to work independently or within a larger team as required by the project and subsystem.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office products, i.e., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication.
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Create pressure vessel calculations using ASME codes.
  • Develop drawings, BOMs and design reviews for particular tasks.
  • Work with the engineering labs to schedule and run tests.
  • Create templates, run regression analysis to develop predictability in shear pressures.
  • Work with engineering lab to automate tests.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Learn design of pressure vessels using ASME codes.
  • Learn real life testing on equipment.
  • Learn automation.
