Job summary

Illinois Tool Works (ITW) is offering an Engineering Intern position at its Troy, Ohio site within the Warewash Business Division. The intern will support testing, CAD modeling, data analysis, and documentation under supervision, with exposure to product development projects in a manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates are sophomores or juniors pursuing a BS in Mechanical Engineering, possess strong problem-solving skills, and can commit to on-site work five days per week.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with product testing, validation, and data analysis to evaluate mechanical system performance.
• Create and modify CAD models, prototypes, and engineering designs to support product improvements.
• Conduct product evaluations, equipment teardowns, and technical research to identify design enhancements.
• Develop technical documentation, assembly instructions, and project presentations to communicate findings.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on assembly, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement projects.
