Dematic is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co-Op to learn the various areas of Mechanical Engineering within the Dematic Organization, and in support of customer projects.

Dematic offers opportunities for career development and global exposure. The role includes supporting modernization efforts, site audits, installations, and providing layouts and documentation to ensure equipment meets specifications.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a 4-year degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Ability to learn to maintain and repair material handling systems.
• Familiarization with Computer Aided Design (CAD) software.

Responsibilities

• Support Modernization and Upgrades on existing material handling systems.
• Perform site audits to collect required data.
• Support the installation of mechanical upgrades.
• Provide detailed layouts and documentation for all modernization scopes.
• Create Purchase Requests and Parts Order Entry
• Drive activities related to ensuring new equipment is built to specification.
• Provide technical support for Estimating, Sales, Engineering teams, and Field Operations.
