Job summary

Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. is seeking a Mechanical EIT to assist senior design staff in executing technical activities on projects and learning discipline-specific standards. You will contribute to on-time, budget-conscious design execution and support generation of project deliverables.

Ideal candidates hold ABET-accredited engineering degrees and have familiarity with Revit and AutoCAD, alongside MS Office tools. This role offers growth in a multidisciplinary engineering environment at SSR.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited college.
• Knowledge of industry specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
• Knowledge of engineering theories and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Learn industry standards and company technical policies during project execution.
• Assist production of designs using Revit and CAD under supervision.
• Perform basic engineering calculations and design functions under supervision.
• Coordinate project designs with other disciplines to determine equipment needs and procedures.
• Observe project managers to develop man-hour budgets and schedules.
• Assist in developing technical documentation, proposals and presentations.
