Job summary

Green Key Resources is seeking a Mechanical Drafter in Austin to create detailed drawings, 3D models, and assemblies using SolidWorks, supporting product development and prototyping.

You will develop BOMs, part libraries, and manufacturing-ready documentation while collaborating with mechanical, electrical, and embedded teams to ensure system integration and design accuracy; apply GD&T and ASME Y14.5 standards in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in drafting or mechanical/electrical engineering technology.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks modeling and drafting.
• Familiarity with GD&T, tolerancing, and drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and revise mechanical drawings, 3D models, and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Develop drawing packages, BOMs, and part libraries.
• Translate concepts into manufacturing-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and embedded teams for system integration.
• Support design revisions, prototyping, and production documentation.
• Apply ASME Y14.5 GD&T and drafting standards.
