Job summary

Rise Technical is seeking a Mechanical Drafter/Designer to join a growing manufacturer near Green Bay. You will produce and revise CAD drawings and manufacturing packets, supporting light design work and collaboration with engineering and the shop floor to bring designs to production.

The role emphasizes training and progression, with SolidWorks training, FE A/simulation, education reimbursement, and occasional travel to customer sites across the US (2–3 days each). Monday–Friday, 40 hours.

Qualifications

• Strong 3D CAD skills with solid mechanical design fundamentals.
• Progression from Drafter/Designer to Senior Designer to Engineer is available.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks is ideal; other 3D CAD tools considered.

Responsibilities

• Produce and revise CAD drawings and manufacturing production packets.
• Support light mechanical design work and collaborate with manufacturing to troubleshoot issues.
• Occasional US travel (2–3 days) with expenses covered.
