Job summary

Palm Harbor Homes is seeking a Drafter to complete assigned drafting projects under the Product Development Manager. You will develop accurate production drawings, BOMs, and tool layouts for models and projects.

You will coordinate drawings with fellow Drafters, maintain drafting standards and the library of reference materials, and perform other duties as assigned. Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma with drafting fundamentals, 1+ years of drafting or manufacturing experience,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with exposure to drafting fundamentals is required.
• One or more years of manufacturing assembly or drafting experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with drafting software are essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate production drawings and bills of material for assigned models/projects.
• Create tooled parts layouts and vendor drawings as needed.
• Coordinate drawings and BOMs with other Drafters to ensure timely completion.
• Maintain current drafting standards and central reference libraries.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
