Job summary

Pearson is seeking a Mechanical Drafter to keep drawings, BOMs, and CAD data accurate, and to support production as machines are built. You will produce detail drawings, support ETO/CTO projects, and collaborate with engineers, sales, and service to ensure on-time machine releases and clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Two-year Mechanical Engineering Technology program or equivalent experience.
• Experience in SolidWorks.
• Ability to prepare thorough, detailed drawings.
• Strong teamwork and time-management skills.
• Experience with BOM management and Engineering Change processes in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate detail drawings and assemblies for ETO/ CTO projects.
• Create customer floor plans and line layouts.
• Provide technical support to production to keep machine releases on schedule.
• Update drawings, BOMs and change notices (ECN/ ECR).
• Maintain drafting standards and revision control across templates for CTO/ETO equipment.
• Document and communicate updates across departments.
