Job summary

Lofton Staffing Services is seeking an experienced Draftsman for a client in South East Houston, TX. The ideal candidate will execute both 2D mechanical drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD and Inventor.

Responsibilities include developing detailed drawings for machinists, reviewing layouts, and ensuring accuracy and adherence to company standards. The role requires strong attention to detail, ability to work with a team, and the capacity to produce clear, production-ready drawings.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of drafting experience preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor.
• Ability to create accurate 2D drawings and 3D models.
• Experience with mechanical drafting and layouts.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create 2D mechanical drawings for machinists to use during production.
• Create 3D solid models and mechanical components.
• Develop drawings for mechanical seals and seal components.
• Design assemblies based on provided layouts.

Job description

Lofton Staffing is currently hiring an experienced Draftsman for a client in South East Houston, TX. This position is ideal for someone with mechanical drafting experience who is comfortable creating both 2D mechanical drawings and 3D models.

Pay:$22–$40 per hour, based on experience and ability

Schedule:Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM

Job Responsibilities

• Develop detailed mechanical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor.
• Create 2D mechanical drawings for machinists to use during production.
• Create 3D solid models and mechanical components.
• Develop drawings for mechanical seals and seal components.
• Design assemblies based on provided layouts.

Requirements

• 2 or more years of drafting experience preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD.
