Job summary

Experis Technology Group is seeking a Mechanical Drafter for an onsite role in Atlanta, GA. You will support precise drafting and design of mechanical options in AutoCAD, Architecture, Inventor with Factory Design Utilities, and Navisworks, while contributing to calculated design cost estimates and feasibility studies.

• Proficient in 2D and 3D drafting using Autodesk tools.

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Job Title

Mechanical Drafter

Location

Onsite at Atlanta, GA

Contract

12 months contract with possible extension

Pay

Pay Range: $22/hr - $28/hr w2

Must Have

• Proficient in 2D and 3D drafting, utilizing Autodesk products (AutoCAD, Architecture, Inventor with Factory Design Utilities, Navisworks Manage and Docs)

What's the Job?

Assist with determining proper corrective action for damaged or worn equipment by reviewing breakdown history and collaborating with the operations team to identify the most cost-effective solutions.

Support the protection of physical assets by helping oversee facility and equipment maintenance and facility housekeeping to maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.

Dispatch and oversee outside service housekeeping vendors through physical inspections to help ensure quality of work.

Participate in environmental audits and support compliance efforts, including providing compliance training with some supervision.

Draft conveyor design options using computerized drawing software (AutoCAD), compute cost estimates for design alternatives, and document the design process; also assist with feasibility studies and projects as needed by management.

• Primary focus on drafting responsibilities, including creating and revising mechanical design options in AutoCAD.
• Ability to compute and document cost estimates for design alternatives and clearly communicate design decisions through written documentation.
• Comfort collaborating with operations and management to support corrective actions, feasibility studies, and project needs.
• Strong attention to detail to help ensure drawings, documentation, and design outputs are accurate and complete.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
