Job summary

Switchgear Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Detailer II to perform intermediate drafting and modeling for electro-mechanical switchgear projects. You will develop submittal, construction, and as-built drawing packages and contribute to BOM development.

Responsibilities include creating detailed SolidWorks assemblies, updating drawings, and ensuring documentation accuracy. A mechanical design background with 3–7 years CAD experience is preferred, with travel being occasional.

Qualifications

• Proficient in mechanical drafting standards and modeling practices.
• Ability to produce part, assembly, submittal, construction, and as-built drawings.
• Interpreting engineering requirements and translating them into technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed SolidWorks assemblies, submittals, construction sets, and as-built drawings.
• Maintain BOMs and related documentation for fabrication.
• Support EC process and documentation traceability throughout lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to improve design processes.
