Switchgear Power Systems, LLC is seeking a Mechanical Detailer II to perform intermediate drafting and modeling for electro-mechanical switchgear projects. You will develop submittal, construction, and as-built drawing packages and contribute to BOM development.
Responsibilities include creating detailed SolidWorks assemblies, updating drawings, and ensuring documentation accuracy. A mechanical design background with 3–7 years CAD experience is preferred, with travel being occasional.
The Mechanical Detailer II performs intermediate drafting and modeling tasks for electro-mechanical switchgear projects. The role works with moderate supervision to develop submittal, construction, and as-built drawing packages and contributes to BOM development.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
An associate’s degree in mechanical design or a technical diploma in an engineering-related field, along with at least 3 to 7 years of experience using CAD software (preferably SolidWorks), is required. Candidates with at least 3 to 7 years of mechanical design experience in a manufacturing or production environment are preferred. Equivalent work experience of at least 7 years may also be considered.
