VAL-CO Industries in New Holland, PA is seeking a Full Time Mechanical Designer to deliver innovative mechanical designs and drawings that clearly communicate project concepts.

You will develop and maintain technical expertise for assigned products, ensure compliance with Engineering procedures for design and document control, and support testing, modifications, and manuals while collaborating with vendors.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Design or Drafting, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design or drafting.
• Solid understanding of mechanical design principles.
• Familiarity with proper drafting procedures.
• Knowledge of document control principles.

Responsibilities

• Deliver innovative mechanical designs and drawings communicating project concepts.
• Develop and maintain technical expertise for assigned products.
• Ensure compliance with engineering procedures for design, document control, and drawing accuracy.
• Support equipment testing, modifications, and preparation of product manuals.
• Collaborate with vendors to foster cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain accurate records of project work, calculations, and time investments.
• Communicate effectively with managers, stakeholders, and customers.
