Henny Penny Corporation in Eaton, OH is seeking a Mechanical Designer II to support day-to-day engineering activities, BOM maintenance, and design-for-production tasks. You will create 3-D models, assist with prototype work, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to transition products to production.

The role requires an associate degree in engineering or equivalent experience, 3+ years of design experience, and familiarity with GD&T and change management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Engineering related field preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ design experience.
• CAD certification preferred.
• Intermediate knowledge of 3D CAD software & ERP System.
• Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Detail oriented with strong creativity.

Responsibilities

• Construct and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Provide prototype and pre-production support.
• Source and order purchased components.
• Support Manufacturing for sustaining equipment.
• Create 3-D Models and Design Intent models.
• Design and print labels.
• Work closely with engineers.
