Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of product design experience; 5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs mechanical designs and calculations under supervision of an Engineer or Team Lead.
• Prepares mechanical designs for power and low voltage products.
• Interacts with Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, and Industrial Engineering teams regularly.
• Presents technical information during design reviews and meetings.
• Creates and updates 2D prints and 3D models for parts and assemblies.
• Maintains Bills of Materials and handles Change Notices to release components.
• Ensures drawings meet standards and supports prototype builds and production.
• Collaborates with suppliers to integrate components into higher level designs.
