You will develop layouts, create manufacturing drawings, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing to bring industrial equipment concepts to life using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and related tools.

Afinitas is expanding and launching a new satellite technical office in Des Moines, Iowa, and we're looking for Mechanical Designers/Drafter at all experience levels to join our growing team. Whether you're an early-career designer looking to develop your CAD and equipment design skills or an experienced designer ready to take on complex machinery projects, this is a unique opportunity to help shape a new engineering presence while creating innovative industrial equipment solutions.
As a Mechanical Designer/Drafter, you'll help bring equipment concepts to life through detailed design, modeling, and manufacturing documentation. Key responsibilities include:
