Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Mechanical Designer in Oshkosh, WI to develop precise 3D CAD models and production drawings using Autodesk Inventor. The role involves designing welding jigs, dies, fixtures, and tools to support manufacturing, plus CNC programming with Fusion 360 CAM.

The position is fully onsite in Oshkosh with a contract-to-hire pathway. Strong CAD skills and hands-on machining experience are preferred to ensure design accuracy and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, dimensions and specs.
• Strong CAD skills to create precise 3D models and production drawings.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 3D CAD models and detailed production drawings using Autodesk Inventor.
• Design welding jigs, dies, fixtures, and tools to support production.
• Develop CNC programs using Fusion 360 CAM and assist with CNC/machining operations.
