Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Designer to transform technical requirements into precise 3D CAD models and drawings, integrating industrial design concepts for manufacturability. This role supports engineers with design solutions and mentors new designers while guiding CAD best practices across the team.

Qualifications

• Requires a technical Associate Degree.
• Minimum of 7 years of design, drafting and computer modeling experience.
• Mechanical design skills with creative solutions.
• Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software experience.
• Excellent communication in English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Turn design requirements into 3D models and functional designs.
• Design components for die casting, plastic molding, metal stamping and more.
• Incorporate industrial design concepts into CAD models with complex surfacing.
• Create drawings, BOMs and change notices for release or change control.
• Support engineers with analysis, research and technical solutions.
• Mentor and guide new designers; promote CAD standards and best practices.
