NV5 is seeking experienced Mechanical Designers to join our Mechanical Industrial Team in Minnesota. You will design central energy plants, upgrade mechanical systems, and support industrial and institutional clients with innovative solutions for HVAC, ventilation, steam, and utilities.

You will develop drawings in AutoCAD and Revit, perform analyses, and collaborate with vendors and clients to deliver coordinated design documents and cost estimates for multiple concurrent projects.

Formación

• Associate Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Technology from an accredited technical college.
• Two or more years of demonstrated design experience in facilities design and/or construction setting.
• Expertise with AutoCAD, Revit, and industry standards.
• Desire to work for higher education and industrial clients.
• Desire to grow technically and professionally.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction industry standards.
• Experience with industrial utilities is desirable.

Position Summary

Are you the experienced and creative Mechanical Designer that we’ve been looking for? We are looking for passionate, driven Mechanical Designers to join our Mechanical Industrial Team focused on delivering engineering solutions with an interest in Industrial Process, Campus Utilities, and Institutional customers. Join a team of professionals with expertise in designing central energy plants, upgrading plant mechanical systems, and helping customers with those one-of-a-kind engineering challenges. Develop solutions for industrial ventilation and HVAC systems, steam and chilled water systems, compressed air and vacuum systems. Perform assessments, develop studies, and design new systems and upgrades for all things mechanical in the built environment. Work in a multi-discipline team to deliver comprehensive engineering solutions.

Benefits

The pay range for this position is $46.00/hr - $62.00/hr; however, base pay offered may be higher or lower depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience of the candidate. Restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
