Aqua-Aerobic Systems, Loves Park, IL, is seeking a Mechanical Designer to create and review layout drawings and Bills of Materials for new and existing products. You will assign part numbers and support multiple internal teams on assemblies and installations.

The role requires an associate degree and CAD/Inventor proficiency, with office software skills and potential field service occasionally. onsite position in Loves Park, IL.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree with at least 2 years related training and experience or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD or Autodesk Inventor.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of structural design and sheet metal forming is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review layout drawings for new and existing products.
• Produce Bills of Materials for installations and assemblies.
• Assign and release part numbers and special parts for orders.
• Provide technical support to Customer Service, Customers, Sales and Manufacturing.
• Work with vendors to locate components and obtain quotes.
• Maintain project records.
• Occasional field service work.

Usual office working conditions with moderate noise such as computers and printers, telephones and copy machines. Occasional exposure to elements such as noise, odor, dust, heat, cold or chemicals.

Minimum Qualifications

• Associates Degree and a minimum of 2 years of related training and experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience .
• Must have knowledge of Auto-Cad or Autodesk Inventor
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of structural design and sheet metal forming, is a plus.

Salary Range: $25.96 - $29.00 per hour
