Actalent is seeking an experienced Inventor Designer to join our Fort Worth, TX team on a contract-to-hire basis. The role centers on creating detailed manufacturing drawings, 3D models, BOMs, and assembly documentation using Autodesk Inventor and Vault.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of drafting, detailing, or design experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong proficiency with Autodesk Inventor.
• Strong experience using Autodesk Vault or similar PDM systems.
• Experience creating: 3D Models, Shop Drawings, Assembly Drawings, Manufacturing Drawings, BOMs.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Experience supporting manufacturing and production teams.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Inventor.
• Develop and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) for manufacturing and production.
• Utilize Autodesk Vault to manage CAD files, revisions, drawing releases, and engineering documentation.
• Work closely with engineering, drafting, and manufacturing teams to ensure drawings are accurate and production-ready.
• Review and update existing Inventor models and drawings based on design changes and customer requirements.
• Support manufacturing by creating detailed documentation for fabrication, assembly, and installation.
• Maintain proper revision control and file organization within Vault.
• Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and manufacturing requirements.
• Participate in process improvements related to Inventor workflows, Vault data management, and drafting standards.

We are seeking an experienced Inventor Designer to support the design and manufacturing of custom modular wall systems and architectural products. This role is heavily focused on creating detailed manufacturing drawings, 3D models, assembly drawings, and bills of materials using Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Vault.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in Inventor daily, managing engineering documentation within Vault, and supporting manufacturing teams through accurate drawings and BOM creation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys detailed design work, product development, and CAD data management within a manufacturing environment.

What You'll Be Doing

• Create and modify 3D models, shop drawings, assembly drawings, and manufacturing documentation using Autodesk Inventor.

• Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $55.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
