Qualifications

  • Proficient in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
  • Minimum of three years of designer experience.
  • Two-year drafting and design technical certificate, degree, or equivalent.
  • Experience with mechanical design.
  • Ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with engineering change notice and ERP systems.

Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Designer, where you will be pivotal in providing drafting and design work using SolidWorks and AutoCAD. You will have the opportunity to understand and contribute to the function and design of our diverse product lines. Collaborate with our design team to create and refine new and existing equipment, produce detailed drawings for manufacturing and field assembly, and ensure all standards and best practices are applied.

Responsibilities

Work Environment

The role is office-based, supporting computer design with occasional trips to the shop floor. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The office is located upstairs, within the engineering department. The work environment is relaxed, with a culture that encourages wearing jeans and t-shirts. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Fairmont, MN.

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $60000.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
