Faith Technologies Incorporated seeks a Mechanical Designer to create mechanical parts and assemblies for renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets. The role emphasizes 2D/3D CAD design, BOM creation, change notices, and cross-functional collaboration with design, manufacturing, and purchasing teams.
The position requires material selection and fabrication/process knowledge, with travel up to 25% to support prototyping, validation, and field installations.

The Mechanical Designer will be responsible for creating mechanical parts and assemblies for products that are used within the renewable energy, microgrid, EV charging, crypto mining, and data center markets.
The Mechanical Designer will support the Design Engineering team using CAD tools to design and create both piece parts and multi-level assemblies of various products that are used within industry. Beyond the design activities, the individual will be expected to work with other disciplines within the organizations to validate the design of the product, including taking input on design requirements, evaluating various solutions, presenting design concepts, and making recommendations on final design solutions. This position should also have experience in material selection, component costing, fabrication processes, assembly processes, product verification and validation, and design trade-offs.
This position will create 2D prints and 3D models for both piece part components and assemblies along with assembly documentation. Understanding drawing standards, Change Notice practices, and creation on Bills of Material are required for this position.
Education: Associates Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience.
Experience: Minimum 3 years of product design experience, 5 years of product design experience preferred.
Travel: 5-25%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.
