Job summary

The Tuckey Companies is seeking a Mechanical Designer to develop commercial and industrial HVAC/R systems. You will use AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed drawings for mechanical services, working directly or with coordinated effort from supervisors, peers and subordinates.

Requirements include a 4-year engineering degree or equivalent training, working knowledge of AutoCAD and HVAC/R knowledge. Revit is preferred; willingness to learn more is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent training.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Knowledge of plumbing and HVAC/R.
• Willing to take on additional training.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical services projects for HVAC/R.
• Collaborate with supervisors, peers and subordinates to deliver drawings.
• Ensure mechanical designs meet project requirements and codes.
• Support ongoing training and skill development as needed.

Job description

Mechanical Designer for Commercial and Industrial HVAC/R will be responsible to design mechanical services projects directly or with coordinated efforts of superior, peer and subordinate personnel using programs including AUTOCAD and Revit.

Educational and experience requirements include 4-year engineering degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or combinations of technical training and/or experience. Should have working knowledge of AUTOCAD. Prefer but do not require experience with Revit. Knowledge of plumbing and heating/ventilation/air conditioning a must. Must be willing to take on additional training.
