BWX Technologies, Inc. is hiring a Technologist 2 for our Erwin, Tennessee site. The role focuses on design and performance analysis of moderately complex nature, with responsibilities spanning problem solving, technical reporting, and project participation.

The position requires a BS degree or equivalent plus six years of related experience. You will contribute to standards development, procurement activities, and customer proposals as part of a dynamic, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• B.S. or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six (6) years related assignments.

Responsabilités

• Analyzes problems, performs calculations, reviews and prepares technical reports
• With appropriate guidance, participates in special projects related to functional and analytical design or performance.
• Maintains and/or updates product standards.
• Assists in the development of standards and methods.
• Assists in design, performance, and safety analysis.
• Participates in the preparation of materials procurement following product specifications.
• Assists in the preparation of customer proposals.
