Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficiency in CAD software such as Siemens NX, or equivalent platforms
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals and design principles
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance calculations and reporting
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
• Effective written and verbal communication abilities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Experience with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) or simulation software
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and material properties

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating and modifying CAD models and technical drawings using industry-standard software
• Support the analysis and optimization of mechanical components and assemblies
• Conduct research on design alternatives and manufacturing processes to support engineering decisions
• Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback to improve designs
• Bill Of Material development and maintaining.
• Prepare technical documentation, including design specifications and assembly instructions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot design challenges and identify solutions
• Support prototyping efforts and contribute to testing and evaluation activities
• Maintain organized project files and documentation in accordance with company standards
• Communicate findings and progress updates to senior engineering staff
• Support design and improvement of fixtures and lay out design in production area based on Design For Manufacturing and Assembly outputs.
