Job summary

M&R Printing Equipment, Inc. in Roselle, IL is seeking a Mechanical Engineer I–III (Machine Designer) to join onsite.

You will design and develop high-speed automation and machinery for textile, digital, and screen-printing applications, including robotic integration and BOM documentation. Responsibilities span concept through production, collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure manufacturability, reliability, and cost targets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• Experience in machine design and packaging, automation, or printing industries is preferred.
• Familiar with machine motion controls and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Develop product documentation for textile, screen, and digital printing equipment.
• Perform mechanical design analysis to meet performance and production requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define machine requirements.
• Create and maintain drawings, BOMs, and ECNs.
• Support prototyping, manufacturing, and assembly processes.
