Job summary

You will work with other engineering disciplines to improve production quality, efficiency, or volume and support distributors, architects, and the production floor.

The role involves defining tests for new or modified products, solving operational problems with engineers, and liaison with external suppliers for specifications.

• Construct prototypes and validate usage against specifications.
• Manage product testing for special applications, including coordination with vendors.
• Perform life cycle testing on cost-reduction materials to verify compliance with specifications.
• Compile technical data for Distributors' project submittals.
• Support and resolve engineering-related production issues.
• Liaise with suppliers to define or update specifications for purchased components.
• Create project scope, budget, and timelines for assigned projects.
