Job summary

Brookfield, United States is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join its multi-disciplinary design and development team. This hands-on role suits an experienced engineer with a strong background in mechanical product development, CAD design, and assembly drawings.

The candidate will work across the full product life cycle—from concept development to manufacturing support—contributing to bespoke, high-precision mechanical systems tailored to customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing complex mechanical assemblies with CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of GD&T and tolerancing for precision parts.
• Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and documentation.
• Background in machined and sheet metal components is a plus.
• Experience with motion control, pneumatics, or semiconductor applications is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Design complex mechanical assemblies using SolidWorks and manage files in PDM systems.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure precise fit and function in linear motion systems.
• Produce BOMs, schematics (DraftSight), change notes and build instructions.
• Support new product development and improve legacy designs.
• Assist with quality checks, manufacturing processes, and design validation with production teams.
• Ensure compliance with CE marking and Machinery Directive.
• Create and interpret detailed technical documentation; collaborate with cross-functional teams.
