Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provides mechanical design and documentation for customer products and/or related tooling, meeting manufacturing requirements.
• Develops basic drawings of components and assemblies.
• Performs engineering computations and writes specifications.
• Creates modified basic designs for new or existing products and tooling.
• Interacts with vendors to ensure proper fabrication of components for product and tooling.
• Assists with assembly of tooling, test fixtures and prototypes.
• Performs drafting and design duties including tolerance analysis and material selection.
• Communicates with customers on technical issues and with leadership on solutions.
