Job summary

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience in mechanical design and documentation for hardware development.
• Experience with FOAK hardware design and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, manipulate, revise/update 3D models and drawings, perform analysis and create specifications.
• Collaborate with Tooling and Analysis Teams to meet Nuclear Quality and Safety standards.
• Communicate design status and issues to Field Deployment Teams, Engineering and Project Management.
• Conduct design reviews with peers and leadership and incorporate feedback.
• Develop technical documentation through design, procurement, and fabrication.
• Document final design to meet application and design requirements including Nuclear codes.

Demonstrates expertise in mechanical design and documentation for hardware development to support plant modifications and nuclear component design. The role requires experience with development and implementation of FOAK hardware design and documentation.

• Prepare, manipulate, revise/update 3D models and drawings, perform analysis and create specifications to support hardware development


• Collaborate with the Tooling Team and Analysis Teams to deliver designs that meet our standards for Nuclear Quality and Safety


• Communicate design to Field Deployment Teams and both Engineering and Project Management on high-level aspects and challenges as well as schedule and progress


• Perform design reviews to present your design to engineering peers and leadership, obtain and incorporate feedback


• Develop technical documentation throughout the design, procurement, and fabrication process


• Document the final design to ensure it meets all application and design requirements including Nuclear and ASME Codes and Standards
