Job summary

Omnicell is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer II to design, analyze, and improve mechanical subassemblies for our healthcare product portfolio. You will collaborate with a cross‑functional team to meet performance, cost, and schedule targets.

The role involves hands‑on design, root cause analysis, and DFMEA/DFX activities, with occasional domestic and international travel to support manufacturing and service teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
• 2+ years of professional mechanical engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with design and manufacturing release.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical devices and subassemblies.
• Investigate design issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Conduct feasibility studies for new designs.
• Manage design changes through ECR/ECO processes.
• Plan and perform engineering verification testing.
• Collaborate across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and service.
• Support travel for field evaluations.
