Job summary

The role reports to the Sr Engineering Manager and offers a hybrid schedule at Boyne City, MI or Freeport, IL, with duties including collaboration across teams and ensuring reliability and performance of designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (e.g., science, engineering, mathematics).
• 2+ years of experience in mechanical design and development.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with CAD software such as SolidWorks or PTC Creo; experience with analysis and simulation tools.
• Experience with materials selection, manufacturing processes, and mechanical testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies per project requirements and standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define mechanical specifications and ensure integration with other systems.
• Perform mechanical analysis and testing to validate design performance and reliability.
