Job summary

Voith US Inc. is seeking an Engineer I to provide design efforts from inception through production, in both new product design and existing redesign. The role utilizes established procedures to solve routine problems and involves guidance from senior staff.

A safety-oriented approach is essential. The position requires creating 3D solid models and 2D drawings, maintaining project files, and collaborating with manufacturing and service teams to improve products and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of engineering degree or equivalent combination of experience.
• 1–5 years of relevant manufacturing, engineering or mechanical experience.
• Demonstrate effective collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task based on business need.

Responsibilities

• Maintain customer, project and drawing files per Engineering Department Standards.
• Operate CAD/CAE equipment to complete work assignments.
• Create 3D solid models and 2D drawings of components and assemblies; assist drafters.
• Create manufacturing drawings using standard methods and industry standards.
• Interact with customers, sales, engineering, and other mechanical services operations for related issues.
