Job summary

Wheeler Staffing Partners seeks a Mechanical Engineer with a Professional Engineer (PE) license to lead design, analysis, and improvement of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems in on-site projects. You will develop engineering drawings, evaluate existing systems, and provide field support from design to implementation.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering and at least 4 years of MEP design experience for commercial HVAC projects, with proficiency in Revit and drafting.

Qualifications

• PE license required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of MEP design experience for commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Design experience supporting commercial MEP infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with Revit.
• Experience designing and drafting blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop commercial HVAC and mechanical systems.
• Create and draft engineering plans and drawings using Revit.
• Analyze and evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or modifications.
• Perform engineering calculations and technical analyses to support project design.
• Visit project sites to evaluate existing conditions and support project implementation.
• Manage assigned projects and coordinate with internal teams, clients, and other project stakeholders.
• Prepare, review, sign, and seal engineering documents.
• Troubleshoot complex engineering issues and provide technical solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
