Job summary

Teksky LLC in Pine Brook, New Jersey, seeks a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our hybrid team. You will work on HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design for building projects, applying a strong technical foundation in HVAC and building systems.

You will use AutoCAD and Revit, conduct site visits, coordinate with architects and contractors, and help with feasibility studies and construction-phase support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years HVAC system design, drafting, or building systems engineering.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems in building construction environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and experience with Revit.
• Familiarity with NY and NJ building codes, construction standards, and regulations.
• EIT certification or progress toward EIT/PE licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical engineering design reports, calculations, equipment sizing, layouts, drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Assist senior engineers with feasibility studies, life cycle assessments (LCA), and MEP design development.
• Develop conceptual designs and detailed mechanical systems for building projects.
• Conduct site visits and existing-condition surveys and prepare engineering documentation.
• Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, contractors, clients, and project stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and construction-phase coordination.
• Provide engineering support and follow up on projects during construction.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Pine Brook, New Jersey, in a hybrid work environment. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems design for building construction projects.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical foundation in HVAC design, proficiency in AutoCAD, and experience with or knowledge of Revit. Candidates should have a keen interest in building systems engineering and familiarity with applicable New York and New Jersey building codes and standards.
