United Engines, LLC. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to take ownership of detailed CAD work and translate concepts into production-ready designs for heavy equipment and industrial products.

You will collaborate with shop teams, customers, and engineers to ensure designs meet requirements, quality standards, and delivery timelines, while supporting testing and integration activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 2-4 years of experience designing industrial/heavy/power-generation equipment.
• 2-4 years of hands-on 3D mechanical design experience using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, Creo.

Responsabilités

• Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings for mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software.
• Support the design, development, and testing of mechanical and electromechanical systems from concept through completion.
• Coordinate mechanical and electrical system integration with customers and internal teams.
• Review Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs).
• Build project timelines, communicate progress, and prepare technical reports.
