Galloway & Company Inc. is seeking a mechanically inclined engineer to grow through hands-on work on HVAC, plumbing, and piping projects. You will learn from experienced engineers while supporting project teams and public agencies, and contribute to the design process from day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Proficiency in Autodesk programs.
• Ability to work on multiple tasks or projects.
• Strong communication within teams and with agencies.

Responsibilities

• Perform assignments to develop professional general knowledge and abilities, applying standard techniques and criteria.
• Assumes a limited degree of judgment on work details and engineering alternatives.
• Performs specific portions of an experienced engineer's broader assignment.
• Applies standard practices, adjusts data, and follows a sequence of steps or processes.
• Performs mechanical design calculations (HVAC, plumbing, piping), sketches, and comparisons under supervision.
• Researches code issues and works with city, state, and county officials.
• Researches design options and documents findings for project engineers/managers.
• Takes an active role in new business development through quality production work for clients.
