Honeywell Aerospace is seeking an Advanced Mechanical Design Engineer (Fan & Aerodynamics) in Phoenix, AZ. You will design aerodynamics for turbomachinery, run CFD analyses, and support testing across development cycles, reporting to the Engineering Manager.

You will contribute to simulations, documentation, and engineering artifacts while mentoring peers and improving design tools. Hybrid schedule in Phoenix, AZ with a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, math or related field.
• 3+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Experience with CFD software (ANSYS CFX/FLUENT, STAR-CCM+, Cadence CharLES).
• 1+ years of MATLAB, Python or C++ scripting.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic design of turbomachinery components using CFD.
• Support rig/testing and analyze test data.
• Document results and findings from design to test.
• Develop design reviews and engineering artifacts.
• Mentor teammates and drive tool/process improvements.
