Job summary

Larson Engineering in Norcross is seeking a motivated mechanical design engineer to engage in mechanical designs for heavy industrial projects. You'll work on site layouts, equipment specifications, and provide onsite assistance, collaborating with multiple disciplines.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years' experience in a design engineering role, preferably with industrial projects.
• PE or EIT with plans to earn a PE.
• Excellent written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform process calculations, finite element analysis, pipe & pump sizing, HVAC sizing.
• Utilization of AutoCAD and other 3D design programs to produce construction documents.
• Provide onsite construction assistance.

Skills

Proficiency in CAD design and design standards

Excellent presentation and verbal communication skills

Working knowledge of AutoCAD or other 3D design software
