Job summary

Donatech Corporation is seeking a mechanical/aerospace engineer to research, plan, analyze, design, and develop mechanical products such as ammunition handling systems, structures, gun systems, missile launchers, mechanisms, and more.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of experience (or MS with 2 years), has strong Creo CAD skills, GD&T knowledge, and can document and present technical work. Collaboration with customers and shops is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of related experience or a Master’s degree with 2 years.
• Experience creating moderately complex solid models and mechanical designs using CAD systems, preferably Creo/Pro-E.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Experience coordinating with internal or external shops for fabrication.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5-2009/2018) and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Responsibilities

• Researches, plans, analyzes, designs, and develops mechanical products and mechanisms.
• Performs analysis, testing, and evaluation of engineering problems using specialized equipment.
• Develops and maintains parts, assemblies, and drawings using Creo Parametric.
• Provides input to project plans, schedules, and budgets; delivers technical documentation.
