Job summary

LHH in the United States is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design and develop custom machinery from concept through production, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable equipment that supports efficient manufacturing.

Responsibilities include CAD design, analyses, creating drawings and BOMs, and coordinating with suppliers for component sourcing and system integration, with a strong emphasis on weld methods and fabrication practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Hands-on experience designing machinery or equipment.

Responsibilities

• Design mechanical systems and components using CAD software.
• Perform engineering analysis, calculations, and simulations to validate designs and meet performance standards.
• Create and maintain technical drawings, specifications, and bills of materials.
• Partner with suppliers and vendors to source components and support system integration.
• Specify and select mechanical elements such as motors, gearboxes, bearings, and shafts.
