Job summary

PACCAR/Kenworth in Kirkland, WA is seeking a Project Engineer for Sustaining Structures and Interiors. You will participate in the design and development of truck programs, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure seamless production handoffs.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and 0–1+ years in product design; Creo/Pro-E proficiency preferred. A Six Sigma Green Belt or DFSS is valued, and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 0-1+ years of experience in product design and development; heavy-duty vehicles/interiors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and development of truck programs.
• Utilize Creo/Pro-E to create optimized parts and assemblies.
• Work with internal and external organizations to validate designs.
• Utilize PACCAR systems to manage product implementation and track costs.
