Job summary

ProMach’s Fogg Filler division seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to design bottle filling systems and related CIP/SIP equipment. You’ll develop P&IDs, 3D models, and 2D drawings, and work with customers, vendors, and internal teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions.

A BS in engineering and 4+ years in packaging-related design are preferred. You’ll collaborate with controls, manufacturing, and service to continually improve products while maintaining strict documentation standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering discipline or equivalent, preferred.
• 4 years engineering experience required; packaging industry preferred.
• Experience may include process design, chemical, controls or field maintenance.
• 4+ years experience with CIP/SIP systems and processes.
• Solid background in fluid dynamics, flows, pumps, valves, chemical blending, and temperature management.
• Passport preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with PC/word processing, data analysis, spreadsheets.
• SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD, preferred.
• Team-oriented work style.

Responsibilities

• Create conceptual design and component specs for bottle filling systems.
• Design mechanical and structural components for fluid process integration.
• Generate and maintain documentation via P&IDs, 3D models, 2D drawings.
• Apply CIP/SIP standards for cleanliness and sterilization.
• Create and maintain fluid component library for pumps, valves, sensors.
• Collaborate with Controls to develop control sequences.
• Support quoting with technical feedback to sales.
• Design new products or modify existing ones based on input.
