Cullum Mechanical in Charleston seeks a seasoned BIM Designer with deep knowledge of mechanical and plumbing systems to drive precision modeling, coordination, and fabrication-ready deliverables.

You will master Revit, Navisworks and ACC to deliver constructible models, lead coordination with trades, and mentor junior designers on complex projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in mechanical or plumbing BIM design and coordination.
• Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit (mechanical/plumbing) and Navisworks.
• Knowledge of HVAC, hydronic piping, and plumbing system design.
• Experience with Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
• Strong communication and ability to lead coordination meetings.

Responsibilities

• Lead BIM coordination for mechanical and plumbing systems from design through fabrication.
• Review contract drawings and specs for scope, conflicts, and design intent.
• Develop and manage Revit models for mechanical and plumbing systems with accuracy.
• Detect and resolve clashes using Navisworks and coordinate with other trades.
• Produce coordination and fabrication spool drawings and layouts.
• Use ACC for issue tracking, model management, RFI linkage, and coordination workflow.
• Collaborate with field, shop, and project teams.
• Mentor junior designers and drafters.

We’re seeking a seasoned BIM designer with strong technical experience in HVAC ductwork, piping, and plumbing coordination, who thrives in complex, fast-paced project environments. This role is ideal for a mechanical or plumbing designer experienced in using Revit, Navisworks, and Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) to deliver accurate, constructible, and fabrication-ready models
