Job summary

Evolution Well Services (EVO) seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer at the The Woodlands corporate office to design and document mechanical systems for EVO’s hydraulic fracturing fleet equipment. You will use 2D/3D CAD (Inventor, AutoCAD) and manage data in VAULT.

You will collaborate with Innovation Engineering, Electrical, Asset Integrity, Operations and MERTZ manufacturing to ensure high-quality, compliant designs while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background, drug screening and aptitude assessments.
• Daily attendance at The Woodlands, TX workstation.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s License with acceptable MVR.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed 2D/3D mechanical models, schematics and drawings using CAD to meet project specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design requirements and goals.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve designs.
• Work with engineering, manufacturing and production teams to ensure efficient design production.
• Maintain design documentation (3D models, drawings, BOMs) in VAULT and manage ECN/ECN processes.
