Job summary

Evolv Technologies Holdings, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer III to own mechanical design across products, focusing on injection-molded plastics and electromechanical systems.

You will craft detailed 3D models and drawings, manage documentation in Arena PDM, and drive design reviews from concept through production tooling and sustainment. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of mechanical design experience for electromechanical products, preferably in consumer electronics, industrial, or security systems.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or an equivalent CAD system; PDM experience preferred.
• Understanding of injection molding, sheet metal, and machined parts; experience with DFx/DFM and tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical design and development for new and existing products with emphasis on injection‑molded plastic components.
• Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and production-ready drawings in SolidWorks or an equivalent CAD system.
• Translate product requirements into mechanical design specifications and contribute to design reviews and decisions.
• Design precision electromechanical assemblies and enclosures across the product lifecycle from concept to production tooling and sustainment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive system integration and manufacturability.
