TSC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to support work at the Naval Research Laboratory. This position offers the opportunity to directly impact high-priority Navy missions.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for the design and development of aerospace structures, mechanical components, and mechanisms. This role requires hands‑on experience with aerospace or spacecraft hardware and understanding of modern aerospace design standards and practices. The engineer will contribute to detailed design activities, modeling, and documentation using industry‑standard CAD tools and drafting conventions.
In compliance with applicable pay transparency laws, the expected salary range for this position is $91,000 – $160,000 per year, depending on experience and location. This role is also eligible for an annual performance bonus and may include equity or incentive compensation as part of the total rewards package.
